Many couples struggle with infidelity, unsatisfying sex, poor communication and incompatibility. Maybe things have been done, or said, that seem impossible to move beyond.

You CAN heal any wound with the right tools, and the right motivation. Couples counseling CAN bring you a happier, healthier relationship with your partner! But, if you're looking for a quick fix, you’re headed for slippage. Sure, you may reach your turning point right away. But, healing a relationship is a lot like dieting. Even if you get good results on the front end, unless you create behaviors and patterns in thinking and feeling that are sustainable over time, you‘re going to slip back into your excess baggage.

I use many tools including role playing to improve communication skills, traumatic release with EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and, I give Homework!.

A better, healthier, more satisfying relationship with one another, whatever form it may take, is an achievable goal. My mission is to work for your mutual greatest good, and bring your relationship to a new and more rewarding state of happiness.

Work Together, Individually, or Both

You can work together as well as individually to help you meet your goals.

When couples want help, they might reach their goals for the relationship faster or more surely when they engage in individual work with their therapist.

I may choose to work with individual partners in couples counseling in order to understand how individual issues create problems in the relationship.

Couples counseling without individual work may be enough to move your relationship to a new place of happiness and stability. You may know already before moving forward that you are only willing to work in therapy as a unit.

A better, healthier, more satisfying relationship with one another, whatever form it may take, is an achievable goal. My mission is to work for your mutual greatest good, and bring your relationship to a new and more rewarding state of happiness.
