Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts
Symptoms of ovarian cysts are treatable. Leave your pelvic pain behind like I did! Naturally Abdominal pain or pressure. They may not kill you, but gosh it’s debilitating. Especially when you have to show up for work, or take care of your children or just carry out your daily tasks. Lower back pain or pain in the thighs? Difficulty urinating? These could be symptoms of ovarian cysts. If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS your doctor may perform a biopsy to test for cancer. Even if the test results clear you of cancer, your doctor may want to perform a laparotomy to remove part of your ovary to treat your symptoms. But maybe you don’t want to go under the knife. I know. I’ve been there. I developed difficulty urinating, weight gain, and painful menstruation. Sometimes I even felt nauseas and like I was going to faint. Even though I didn’t have cancer, I was so scared about being able to go on tolerating the pain I began to get anxious and depressed. A light bulb went off in my head. Hey, maybe I shouldn’t do anything to myself now that I can’t take back later. Maybe I should try the least invasive treatment first. My doctor was not supportive of my decision. But I felt I could go back to her if my idea didn’t work. I began to research alternative medicine to treat my ovarian cysts. To make a long story short, it was the best decision. I found a reasonably priced e-book and followed the program and…..Voila! Relief from my pelvic pain. Since then I have had other medical problems, non of which were diagnosed or treated through conventional medicine. I continue to research the “collective wisdom” of the internet on alternative medicine for women’s health and now live (mostly!) symptom-free. So why this page on a psychotherapy website? I love to help people heal when I find something that works. My true passion is helping people find their way back to healthy and prosperous ways of living, with a focus on relieving suffering and pain. And that is where this website was born. Take your time here. Let me lead you through the healing journey I’ve been through…and figured out.
