Womens Health Problems

When speaking of womens health problems the first things that come to our minds are common issues like mastectomy surgery, abortion, ovarian cysts, menopausal problems and reproductive disorders.

We have been taught to think of these problems in purely physical terms. But, the role of the mind is fast becoming acknowledged by more and more medical experts, like Dr. Andrew Weil for one.

Now, womens health may be treated with a battery of both western medicine and holistic healing approaches which points to the fact that our society is developing an emerging consciousness around a mind/body paradigm.

More than just relying on treatment options for diseases and disorders, womens health and fitness depends on lifestyle changes to prevent illness. Positive thinking and motivation are key to creating the lifestyle changes necessary for a health based quality of life.

Many women are now using coaching as well as counseling to help make changes in the way they think about their health and the behaviors they engage in that may or may not be serving them. Other women would prefer to commit to a self help program they can rely on at home.

Software is now available to help create the mental environment women need to stay healthy. The software teaches women how to create and use affirmations, set goals, and become and stay motivated to commit to their health routine.
